Which file types work?
PageToPoster accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, and a one-page PDF up to 20 MB.
Should I choose A4 or US Letter?
Choose the paper that is loaded in the printer. A4 is 210 × 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches.
How large can a poster be?
The current tool supports up to 36 sheets. The preview shows the finished dimensions and page grid before export.
How do I know if the image is large enough?
Check the image DPI shown below the controls or use the image resolution calculator. Wall posters can often look good at 150 DPI.
Print settings
Why is the poster smaller than expected?
The print dialog probably used Fit or Shrink. Choose Actual size or 100% and run the printer scaling test.
Why is there a white edge around every page?
Most home printers cannot print to the paper edge. PageToPoster keeps a safe margin so image content is not lost.
Can I use borderless printing?
You can reduce the safe margin if your printer supports borderless output, but many printers enlarge borderless jobs slightly.
Why do neighboring pages repeat part of the image?
That overlap is intentional. It provides a visual strip for accurate alignment before taping.
Assembly
Which edges should I trim?
Trim the left edge of pages after the first column and the top edge of pages after the first row. Keep one overlapping edge at each join.
What do A1, B1, and A2 mean?
Letters run from left to right; numbers run from top to bottom. A1 is the upper-left page.
What tape works best?
Use small pieces to position the pages, check the front, then reinforce each join from behind with transparent tape or painter’s tape.
Does PageToPoster keep my image?
No. PageToPoster does not store the image or PDF you choose.
