Print-size troubleshooting

Make 100 mm on the PDF equal 100 mm on paper.

Use these settings when a stencil, pattern, template, or poster must keep its intended dimensions.

Download the 100 mm test square

Print it at Actual size, measure it, and correct your printer settings before using many sheets.

1. Match the paper

Select A4 for 210 × 297 mm paper or US Letter for 8.5 × 11 inch paper. A mismatch can force the print dialog to rescale every page.

2. Turn off automatic scaling

Choose Actual size, 100%, or None. Turn off Fit, Shrink oversized pages, Scale to page, and Borderless expansion.

3. Measure one page

Print the test sheet and measure between the outer lines. If the square is not 100 mm, revisit the scaling settings before using more paper.

4. Keep the same settings

Use the verified paper size and scale for the final tiled PDF. Then follow the assembly guide.
